It's that time of year when the schools begin to go back with a whole raft of uniform and equipment to buy. It is estimated that the average cost of being fully kitted out for
school is between £140-£160 per child. The Institute of Fiscal Studies reckons that Government spending on primary schools is around around £5000 per pupil per year,
with a total spend on education in the UK amounting to 4.2% of our national income.
We recognise education as a vital and necessary investment. But might you be willing to invest in helping people learn about the Good News of Jesus too? If your children have grown up, perhaps you could invest a small amount in mission instead. A regular donation to Home Mission of only £5 a month can make a real difference to local churches in NWBA and help us begin new outreach initiatives.
