Our AGM at 4.00pm on 5th October 2025 will be invited to appoint trustees to serve for 3 years. The following existing trustees have been

Mark Elder was co-opted by the existing trustees in May 2025. Every Church is invited to send up to 2 voting delegates to the meeting
Mark Elder
Mark is Minister of Tarporley Chapel in Cheshire, having served churches in Poynton, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Worcester. He's also part of the national leadership team of Fresh Streams, a Word and Spirit network with longstanding Baptist roots. His heart is to see healthy and growing churches across our region who are reaching out in their local communities. He’s married to Zoe, and has two sons, and three lovely grandchildren.
Mark has served alongside Simon Oxley as Vice-Moderator for the last 3 months and has been nominated by trustees to serve as Moderator for the next 12 months.
Zac Adeleye
Zac is a Baptist by birth and by upbringing. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 11 and was baptised by immersion at the age of 13. He has engaged in various kinds of Christian service since his teenage years. Having received the call of God into full-time ministry, he had his initial ministerial training at The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary from August 2000 to June 2004. He was invited to join the Seminary faculty, where he taught for three academic sessions. He also served in various capacities in different Baptist churches in Nigeria.
Since arriving the UK in 2007, Zac has achieved a Certificate of Higher Education in Theology, Music and Worship from the London School of Theology and a Master of Arts in Theology from Liverpool Hope University. Whilst working in the education and training sector he achieved an NVQ level 4 in Human Resource Development and a Level 5 in Operational Management. He completed his MA in Missional Leadership with Together in Mission (now For Mission College) and was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 2011 after completing training with Northern Baptist College.
He is passionate about seeing people transformed by the love of Jesus and to go on to bring transformation to their communities; equipping and releasing people to fulfil their God-given destiny.
John has been married to Helen since 1988 and they have two wonderful grown-up children. He likes to relax by walking, doing DIY or just crashing on the sofa and watching a movie.
George Ayoma
George describes himself as a history maker being student president of the Scottish Baptist College from 1999 to 2000 and currently the longest service pastor at Trinity B.C. Fleetwood, arguably, the happiest church… (in the Fylde!). George has been happily married to Angela (English mum, Hungarian dad), for 29 years, with a Scottish son Sam, born during their first pastorate in Nairn, Highlands. where they spent six of their 13 years in Scotland before moving to Fleetwood in 2007.
George is a strong believer in the durability of happy, culturally diverse congregations at the heart of their local community. His ministry is fulfilled in partnership with the Fishermen's Mission, the national charity supporting Active, Retired fishermen and their living dependents. He is also chaplain to the glorious Fleetwood Town Football Club since 2014, having given out over 300 Bibles to players and staff. George is a great believer in the enduring partnership with Baptist Together family, without whom the congregation at Fleetwood, shortly to celebrate its 90th anniversary could not be sustained.
